Biography
Melina Vratny, Certified Empowerment Coach
Melina Vratny received
her Coaching Certification through IPEC Coaching in Manalapan NJ, one of the most revered schools in the field. She is a member,
and is held to the high standards of the International Federation of Coaching (ICF). She holds a BS in Biology from StonyBrook
University in New York with a minor in secondary education, and she has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Adelphi University,
NY. Melina has worked in the corporate world in sales, marketing, product and market development for 20 years, was president
of her own imaging company, and has taught business and marketing courses in the Business department at SUNY Farmingdale on
Long Island, NY. With a strong background in finance, in 2000 and 2001 after passing the Series 7 and Series 63 enabling her
to be a stock broker in the state of NY, she made the choice to become a Life Empowerment Coach instead in order to be of
greater service to her clients. She holds two patents in high-tech instruments for microscopy and has written numerous
articles in industry magazines. In 2001 Melina climbed to the base camp at Mount Everest in Nepal, has trekked through the
high Andes mountains in Peru, and just returned from summiting Mera Peak, one of the high mountains in the Everest region
of the Himalayas.
